Are you ready to live your best life?

At West Valley Acupuncture and Myofascial Release I blend ancient healing wisdom with modern understanding, bringing you a holistic approach that restores balance to your body, mind, and spirit.

The Ancient Classical Texts of East Asian Medicine state:

First select a quiet environment. Close all the doors and windows.

Gain the trust of the patient so that the patient can completely convey everything

that is pertinent to the condition. Be thorough and differentiate the truth.

Observe the patient's spirit.

This is but one of many profound statements found in the classical texts of East Asian Medicine. In my clinical practice, I treat according to these wisdom texts, searching for the deeper connections to your concern, the point at which you fell out of balance with the world.

Holding space and honoring your story is an important piece of your healing process.

What you can expect from my practice: Presence

In over 23 years of clinical practice in the holistic healing arts, I have come to stand on this one single statement: presence and authenticity are the key to healing. That means istening to my patients and clients, seeing and honoring them in their vulnerabiilty, and holding space with them so they can pause and heal.

My patients and clients are not just names that fill my schedule. They are vital beings who are necessary to the evolution of life on this planet. They are people who are struggling, be it with physical pain or limitation, or in matters of the spirit. They are deserving of compassion, understanding, and personalized care to help them meet their goals. Whether that means helping them get out of pain, having a healthy child, or finding peace of spirit, this is my role.

As a licensed acupuncturist with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture, my treatments are also informed by decades of study in bodywork, including a degree in Massage Therapy from the New York College of Health Professions, the John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach®, Craniosacral Therapy, and AMMA Therapy® (a system of Korean bodywork). Rounding out my experience in holistic medicine, I am also a Certified Benedictine-trained Spiritual Director, Certified Enneagram Practitioner, Hellenistic astrologer, and Certified Bach Flower Practitioner.

In the clinic, I specialize in the treatment of chronic pain, fertility, autoimmune disorders, emotional stress, depression, anxiety, and hormone regulation. I am the developer of my own system of scar tissue release that joins the wisdom of Eastern Medicine with modern advanced bodywork techniques, offering patients a way out of years of limiting restriction. Most patients who come into this practice have been through various approaches that did not work, or only worked for a brief time. Often they will tell me, “you are my last hope.” Within that first session they experience changes no other treatments have provided.

Prior to my career as an acupuncturist, I worked in research medicine at Winthrop-University Hospital (now NYU Langone Health) where I served on the editorial staff of the Journal of Maternal-Fetal Investigation, which has inspired my interest in and dedication to fertility acupuncture.
